British Columbia(BC) is now open a new immigration pilot program to attract foreign entrepreneurs who intends to establish a new business.This is basically Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).All interested people must complete an exploratory visit to British Columbia(BC) where they wish to set up business and must obtain a community referral before registering for the pilot.Candidates needs to submit a business proposal.Successful candidates will get the two years work permit visa and the BC will issue a nomination for permanent residence(PR) once it determines that the business has met all the criteria.So if you meet all criteria under PNP entrepreneur immigration program chances are very high to get the visa.
Entrepreneurs must be established their business regional communities of less than 75,000 people and located more than 30 kilometres from a larger city.
Listed below are some of the basic criteria set out by the Canadian government to qualify under PNP Entrepreneur Immigration program(British Columbia).

- Minimum of investment $100,000 CAD
- Minimum personal net worth of $300,000CAD
- Business experience at least 3 years.
- Business ownership minimum 51%.
